When designing a large open loft space, it's always a challenge to find ways to create more intimate moments, while maintaining a consistent style throughout. In this Brooklyn loft rich walnut millwork was woven into each of the living areas, creating multitasking spaces, as well as adding much needed storage. A cleverly concealed walnut armoire hides an office in plain sight, just off the dining room. An oversized leather sectional gives everyone in the family a place to rest, while a cluster of wooden coffee tables can be repositioned and used for a place to rest your drink, a game table, or an extra seat. A hardware-free TV cabinet provides toy storage in a comfy yet chic minimal living room. In the master bedroom we adorned the walls in a handsome chevron grasscloth wallpaper, adding a dose of texture to this simply dressed room.
