LINDA LANE

Having recently moved from Brooklyn to the ‘burbs, this client hoped to find a way to merge their modern aesthetic with their new transitional home. Additionally, had a handful of furniture that came with them from the city and they wanted to find a way to incorporate it all into their new space. We achieved this by sticking to a very neutral black and white color palette that embodies modernity. In almost every room we incorporated large scale graphic patterns on a backdrop of familiar shapes and traditional furnishings. One of our favorite and most challenging rooms is the family room with large open kitchen. We built a custom dining banquette curved to fit the shape of a Saarinen tulip table.
